A quick comparison to the new facebook lite and the old regular facebook.

I just recently found about Facebook lite. You can find it at lite.facebook.com. I wanted to see what the styling/html/css differences are. I think most importantly you will find it way less javascript intensive, which is a bit of a relief. It boasts simpler, cleaner, interface. Less ajax requests, and less graphics. Overall i am very pleased with the simplicity, i think they may need to add a few more of the main usages of facebook, but other than that it’s very usable. Yeah i use the facebook chat once in a while, and i may miss that, but using meebo for the facebook chat will get me by just fine. Anyways, kudos to facebook! Check out the screenshot comparison:
